CCE Representative Offices abroad
As one of its core tasks, the Croatian Chamber of Economy emphasises furthering the interests of the Croatian economy abroad and strengthening of export orientation.
The Croatian Chamber of Economy (CCE) has been engaged in foreign markets for many years, assisting Croatian companies in the process of internationalisation through its representative offices. CCE currently operates its representative offices in Belgium, Russia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, China, Serbia, and Austria.
Objectives of the CCE representative offices are:
- strengthening of export activities
- attracting foreign direct investments in Croatia
- promoting Croatian economy and
- boosting the image and the brand of Croatia and Croatian products.
CCE representative offices abroad are also accessible to foreign business operators that intend to set up businesses in Croatia and establish linkages with Croatian companies.
CCE Representative Office in Brussels
The establishment of the CCE Representative Office in Brussels in 2000 was triggered by the need to support the Croatian economy in preparing for EU membership and in adapting business activities to comply with the European single market legislation.
Upon Croatia's accession to the European Union, the focus of activities of the Representative Office has been placed on cooperation with relevant EU institutions and sectoral umbrella organisations. The Representative Office provides timely information on policies, the EU, measures and regulations, including on European Commission's published consultations.
The Representative Office actively participates in the work of various European Brussels-based associations, of which CCE is a member, in particular with the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry – Eurochambres, with its 45 members and a network of 1 700 local and regional chambers, representing the interests of more than 20 million companies across Europe. Furthermore, the role of the Representative Office is to improve economic cooperation with Belgium and the Netherlands, which includes advising entrepreneurs on bilateral business issues and administrative processes in the Belgian market.

CCE Representative Office in the Republic of Austria
The Representative Office of the Croatian Chamber of Economy in Austria was opened in 2022, with the primary objective of promoting and representing the interests of the Croatian economy and establishing business relations between Croatian and Austrian economic operators. CCE Representative Office assists entrepreneurs and companies from Croatia with a view to promoting their products in Austria as best as possible. Moreover, it follows all business events taking place in Austria and provides commercial information to Croatian economic operators for the purpose of ensuring their efficient market entry. The Representative Office endeavours to act as the primary point of contact for Croatian companies that are active in the market.
The Representative Office is engaged in linking Croatian and Austrian businesses and assists Croatian companies in achieving a more decisive breakthrough in the Austrian market by providing support in the organisation of meetings and participation at trade fairs and exhibitions. The Representative Office organises outreach events fostering cooperation opportunities with Croatia.

CCE Representative Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Recognising the importance of boosting the presence and providing support to businesses in the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), as well as with a view to intensifying bilateral economic cooperation, the Croatian Chamber of Economy has set up two offices in Bosnia and Herzegovina, one in Sarajevo and the other in Mostar.
CCE representative Offices in BiH provide support to companies through the following activities:
- promoting Croatian companies in the BiH market
- providing information on economic trends in Bosnia and Herzegovina
- creating linkages, establishing business contacts, and preparing business and entrepreneurial meetings
- organising the participation of Croatian companies at trade fairs, business fora and similar events in Bosnia and Herzegovina
- informing about legislation and business conditions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

CCE Representative Office in the Republic of Serbia
The Representative office of the Croatian Chamber of Economy in Serbia provides support to Croatian entrepreneurs and companies operating or intending to operate in the Republic of Serbia and helps entrepreneurs and companies from Croatia to effectively promote their products in the Serbian market.
CCE Representative Office in Serbia supports its members through the following activities:
- promoting the products of member companies – economic operators of the Republic of Croatia
- providing information on economic trends in the Republic of Serbia
- establishing business contacts and preparing business meetings and encounters
- organising the participation of member companies – economic operators of the Republic of Croatia at trade fairs, business fora and similar events in the Republic of Serbia.

CCE Representative Office in the P.R. China
CCE Representative Office in Shanghai was opened in 2017 with the aim of providing support to Croatian companies in the context of marketing of their products in the Chinese market. It provides assistance in finding and assessing the potential business partners in the market of one of the world's largest economies by addressing possible investment opportunities. It also informs Chinese companies and organisations seeking to do business with Croatian companies or invest in the Republic of Croatia.
