Since 2007. the conference has been held in Vukovar for 10 years in a row, firstly called International Conference on Freshwater Fisheries and then International Production and Scientific Aquaculture Conference, and was preceded by National Symposium with international participation "Fishing days", which are held in Bizovac in the period 1999-2002.
At the previous 12 Aquaculture conferences, cooperation was made with 29 faculties, eight institutes, two academies and several international aquatic aquifers, such as FEAP (Federation of European Aquaculture Producers) and Eurofishes (International Organization for the Development of Fisheries and Aquaculture in Central and Eastern Europe).
About 300 scientific papers were presented, two PhDs were successfully defended and one patent.
The participants came from 14 countries.
