Croatian Manufactures on the IFAT 2016 in Germany

For the fourth time, Croatian Chamber of Economy was the organizer of Croatian companies’ exhibition on the World’s Leading Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Waste and Raw Materials – IFAT (May 30th to June 3rd) in Munich.
CCE presented brochures of various companies, such as: Vargon, RS Metali, ALPRO-ATT, Hidraulika Kurelja, EKO Međimurje, Interseroh, Watropur, E-Kolektor, MIV, GUMI IMPEX GRP, Tehnix, Rasco and EDC.
During the first day of the fair, CCE’s desk was visited by representatives of Croatian companies –Hidroing, Watropur, CMC Ekocon, MIV and Kemis Termoclean, and some of the companies were presenting their own products (CWG, Gumiimpex-GRP, Gumix Elastor, IND-EKO, IVW, MIV, RASCO, Spectra Media and Tehnix).
Krunoslav Kovačić, Director at Watropur, presented his new investment – the production floor in Križevci, where sludge dryers shall be manufactured.
Head of production at the GUMI IMPEX GRP Nevenko Varšić spoke about the importance of this fair, which he considers to be the best place to renew existing contacts and make new ones, especially with customers.
Head of Manufacturing Industry Division at the CCE Gordana Ribarić had many business conversation with Croatian companies, foreign business partners, with other international fairs’ representatives and with the representatives from related professional associations (some of them include German Mechanical Engineering Industry Association, Turkish Machinery and Austrian association for the export promotion Advantage Austria).
IFAT is one of the most prominent European and international fairs, which covers very wide areas of production, such as waste management equipment production, secondary raw material management and environmental protection technologies. It is organized every two years and it represents the place where scientific and professional approaches meet. This year’s fair celebrates its 50th anniversary and the number of exhibitors is continuously growing.
