The Permanent Arbitration Court at the Croatian Chamber of Economy organizes the arbitration proceedings for domestic and foreign entrepreneurs. The Arbitration Court enables the parties to have their disputes settled by trusted experts, within a reasonable period of time.

The Arbitration Court has a long tradition. The first arbitral institution of the Zagreb Chamber was established in 1853. After 1945, it terminates with its activities, only to resume them in 1965. For the next 25 years, the Arbitration Court functioned successfully as an arbitral institution, settling commercial disputes without an international element. Since 1991, after the Republic of Croatia had gained independence, the Arbitration Court has gradually begun to handle disputes with an international element as well.
